Twelve points for attention in paper plastic packaging

1. When using the sealing machine for paper plastic packaging, check whether the sealing date is accurate, and check the validity of the date after sealing. When the handwriting becomes shallow, increase the printer ink in time. The temperature of the medical sealing machine is generally 180 ℃ to melt the polypropylene into liquid state and squeeze the film into the paper fiber; the width of the seal lines of the paper plastic packaging should be greater than or equal to 6 mm, and the sealing must be in the same continuous shape, flat without wrinkles, bubbles or leakage.

2. When packaging, the cleanliness and dryness of the packaged goods should be checked. During high-pressure steam sterilization, the cleaning and drying of the equipment are not complete, and the residual oil and water are easy to wet the paper surface and cause wet package.

3. The sharp instrument parts should be protected, such as sharp scissors, which should be covered with silicone tube or rubber tube to prevent the paper plastic package from being punctured, resulting in failure of sterilization;

4. The paper plastic bag must be cut properly and used correctly to remove the air, permeate the sterilizer and dry. Exhaust unfavorable air will become the obstacle of heat and water vapor, so remove as much air as possible before sealing. Therefore, in order to make room for the contraction and circulation of the bag, a space of ≥ 2.5cm should be left between the sealing edge of the instrument and the bag. For larger bags, after one end is sealed, the air in the bag is discharged by light pressure, and then the other end is sealed. The cold air in the bag is less, the condensation water in the bag is less when it is hot, and the probability of wet package is reduced.

5. When the instruments with concave surface, such as bowls, cups, bending plates, etc., are packed in paper plastic bags, the concave surface is on the paper surface, which is favorable for steam penetration and ensures the sterilization quality, because the plastic surface is impermeable to steam;

6. When the instrument is operated, the holding position should be consistent with the opening direction of the paper plastic material; in order to facilitate the identification and operation of the operator, the paper plastic bag design makes the bag easier to open, and the design of easy to open items reduces the risk of contamination when opening.

7. When using paper plastic materials for double packaging, attention should be paid to the selection of appropriate size sequence and the consistency of opening direction. Do not fold the paper plastic bag inside, because it will interfere with the removal of air and the penetration of sterilization medium, and plastic paper stickers should be pasted to ensure the penetration, drying and visibility of sterilization medium.

8. When the information needs to be written on the paper plastic material, pay attention to the use of flexible pen, which can only be written on the plastic surface and outside the filling area. It should not be written on the paper surface, so as to prevent the ink penetration from affecting the sterilization effect.

9. Paper and plastic packaging articles should be handled with care, preferably by hand, especially for heavy instrument bags or large bags, do not drag, pull, squeeze, lift, throw and other actions, to prevent damage to the packaging bag. When sealing high-temperature and low-temperature articles, the articles shall be classified, and the articles shall not be damaged due to wrong loading.

10. When the paper plastic packaging bag is put on the pot, it needs stainless steel basket to hold. When it is placed vertically, different packaging bags should be paper to paper and plastic to plastic. There should be a gap between the two packages (about 2.5cm apart), which should not be overcrowded, so as to facilitate the penetration of sterilization factor. It also prevents moisture from staying on the plastic surface, resulting in wet package.

11. After sterilization or before releasing articles and before clinical use, it is necessary to observe whether the color of the process indicator of the corresponding sterilization method changes to the reference color. If there is bag explosion, perforation or wet package, it is considered to be contaminated and must be treated again;

12. Storage environment: room temperature: 15-25 ℃, relative humidity: 30% - 60%. Aseptic paper plastic bags should be placed on the aseptic shelves ≥ 20cm from the ground, ≥ 5cm from the wall and ≥ 50cm from the ceiling. Prevent high temperature from increasing paper brittleness or package damage due to moisture.
